Prismatic centrality
Within a highly regular planning grid, we offer a prismatic centrality where transparent, dynamic and varied sequences are used to create visual relationships between the outside areas of the project and accompany the visitor along the site routes.
We take as a postulate that the cubic, opaque and solid effect is to be avoided. To achieve this, we propose limiting the perceptible height of the facades along urban alignments by an oblique layout of the multi-sports hall. This layout allows for play on the differences in useful heights and thus creates slopes. This avoids having to walk from the avenues along an uninterrupted and flat building front nine metres high.
From the roundabout, all parts of the programme are identifiable by the treatment of the foyer providing access to the sports facility. The glass corner opens up a view of the "sport" forecourt and leaves the gaze free to wander to the end of the site through the outdoor areas.
