Sometimes in architecture - as in mathematics - Minus x Minus = Plus.

The set of accumulated negative constraints on this project proved to be a rich source of creative expression in which each point was subjected to architectural interpretation.

The structure is part of the basic geometry of the plot and unfolds in relation to the slope. This arrangement reinforces commitment to the green belt and harmonizes the different alignments, including future construction.

Because it was not possible to open up views over the main facade of the building we decided to make this facade translucent and to implement the traffic flows on the periphery.

Distributions therefore become the main tool for managing planning rules and acoustic requirements while participating in the atmosphere of the site and the aesthetics of the project.

Research into translucency led us to choose polycarbonate as the main material for the facade. Analysis of its characteristics led us to orient the plastic properties of the project towards inflection of light. The architectural object thus becomes a precise play between transparency and reflection, opacity and light.
