Here the notion of land and terroir takes on a meaning magnified by a topography whose relief is the vineyard, classified as a UNESCO heritage. We have integrated this landscape heritage into the project for the future sensory interpretation center. The architectural part is thus based on a sensitive approach to the project by enhancing and restoring the heritage qualities of the Pommery style building, the Pressoir, and by the concept of immersion of contemporary grafts, understood as a whole where building and landscape do one.
Dedicated scenographic sequences will be developed there, educational and training spaces, a tasting place, a large festive terrace and an immersive restaurant, in harmony with the place. This landscape as a backdrop for future cultural equipment is at the heart of the architectural project. Architecture, landscape and scenography merge to offer a sensory visit, in immersion, which mixes memory, knowledge and wonder, to live in the continuity of the cultural network of the territory in full development.
